We've all seen it;

The highly opinionated, glorified blog posts bashing modern technologies — often sprinkled with obscenities for novelty. I'd be tempted to say they read as if they were written by a teenage edgelord, if that weren't an insult to teenagers. We spent so much time arguing among ourselves about which technologies are the best, we forgot to ask one simple question: does it even matter?

Here's some food for thought: when you're on your deathbed, are you really going to look back on all the JavaScript frameworks you used, or the ones you didn't? Are you going to be telling your family about all the programs you rewrote in Rust? I’d hope not.

Use what you want and move on.

Programming languages were never meant to be a status symbol. Carpenters don’t take pride (or feel shame) in the brand of pencil they use, so why should you spend so much time obsessing over which programming language to pick? This site was made with plain HTML and CSS, but yours doesn't have to be!

If it works, it works. If it doesn't, use something else. Make your game in x86 assembly if you want — it makes no difference to the end user.

This isn't satire.

You're probably used to sites like this having a little section at the bottom about it being satire, only to go to the author's Twitter and discover they really do believe everything they said. This isn't one of those sites.

I'm sick of everything being so divided. Can't we just all get along? Somebody using Golang instead of Rust for their pet project isn't the end of the world (source: we're still here!). Stop complaining, and start building.
